We are seeking an experienced Industrial Painter & Blaster. This is a hands-on role responsible for guiding a Painter/Blaster and Trades Assistant while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.

Contract: 12 months


What You’ll Do:

  • Abrasive blasting and surface preparation
  • Grinding, sanding and mechanical preparation of surfaces
  • Application of industrial coating systems using airless spray equipment
  • Spray, roller and brush application as required
  • Maintaining blasting and painting equipment
  • Completion of quality checks and inspection records
  • Following maintenance work instructions and coating specifications
  • Working safely within an operating manufacturing environment
  • Supporting shutdown, project and routine maintenance activities
  • Maintaining high housekeeping and safety standards


What You’ll Bring:

  • Previous Industrial Painting & Blasting experience
  • Experience operating airless spray equipment
  • Strong understanding of surface preparation and coating application
  • Working at Heights

  • Reliable, punctual and team-focused
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team

Highly Regarded

  • Certificate III Surface Preparation & Coating Application
  • Painting & Decorating Trade Qualification
  • Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
  • Forklift Licence (LF)
  • Manufacturing, industrial maintenance or heavy industry experience
  • Experience applying protective coating systems
